You’ll save yourself $280 off going refurb vs. the $900 you’d have to pay at Dell.com. As for video games, you’re probably going to buy Assassin’s Creed 3 anyway, so you might as well justify that purchase more and save $12 with NewEgg’s pre-order discount on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Only $48 bucks for the highly anticipated October 30th release.
Six good laptops worth mentioning today. As mentioned above, the refurbished Dell Inspiron 14z is a good $280 off the $900 you’d pay at Dell Home. If you’re into big giant gaming machines, there’s a good discount on an 18.4-inch Alienware M18x, cheapest ever by $75. As for big screens without gaming orientation, the 17.3-inch Dell with Ivy Bridge Core i5 is at a new low by $70. Finally, two hot Lenovo laptops with discrete graphics worth mentioning: the 15.6-inch 1080p Y580 with GeForce GTX 660M and the 14-inch Y480 with GeForce GT 650M are both cheapest ever by $50.
Several worthy gaming deals today. If you need a gaming mouse, the 6-macro button Razer Naga Hex Wraith mouse is at its lowest price ever at $60. A SteelSeries Xbox 360/PC gaming headset is $45 today only at 1SaleADay. Hot NewEgg pre-order coupon expires at the end of the day – good time to grab a $12 discount on upcoming titles like Assassin’s Creed 3 and LEGO Lord of the Rings. Of course, you can also pick up a pre-owned copy of Tom Clancy’s Future Soldier for $17 at Gamefly vs. the $40 it would cost you in new condition… which is probably the right price to pick it up at due to the mixed reviews.
Three solid HDTV deals today, spanning a wide range of sizes. For those looking for a large TV on the cheap, the 48-inch TCL set is over $100 off next best price after coupon. With a 240Hz refresh rate, it should do just fine with fast motion, and although there aren’t reviews online, it’s probably got similar characteristics to the very popular 40-inch TCL models, often touted as great values for the money. The 32-inch Philips set with WiFi would be ideal for someone wanting a bedroom set with Netflix capability right out of the box – you won’t have to worry about turning on additional components. Finally, we’ve got a 24-inch refurbished Hannspree LED set for only $100.

The 500GB external drive from LaCie is a straightforward and compact option if you don’t need multiple terabytes of storage. The Asus monitor’s hit a new low, as has the Onkyo 7.2 receiver, Fujifilm FinePix camera, and Samsung 830 Series SSD. All five of these products are generally well-reviewed, although you might want to look at specifics on the Onkyo’s second HDMI output, since many purchased with incomplete knowledge of its capabilities, then wrote negative reviews as a result. Finally, the iLuv earbuds are a cheap replacement option to round up today’s post.
